Atlanta dermatology marketing

Dermatology Marketing in Atlanta, GA

Atlanta dermatology searches lead with skin-of-color care, insurance and skin cancer screening, with cosmetic demand alongside. We help independent practices grow the cosmetic side while serving the medical side well.

Google attached skin-of-color care to plain Atlanta dermatologist searches before anything else, including patients looking for a Black dermatologist, followed by insurance and skin cancer screening. The market is review-heavy: one listing had 7,436 reviews and 32 of 114 had 500 or more. Alpharetta drew 8 area suggestions. We build pages for your medical and cosmetic services, reviews and a booking path that earns trust.

Dermatology marketing services in Atlanta

  • Local SEO for dermatology practices

Buckhead and Sandy Springs drew 6 dermatology suggestions each and East Cobb 5, and 18 searches ended in near me. We build area pages that match those searches and set your Google profile's service areas to the same map, so nearby patients can find you.

  • Google Business Profile optimization

Only 43 of 112 rated Atlanta dermatology listings had 4.8 stars or more, the second-lowest share of the 30 metros. We list medical and cosmetic services separately on your profile, add insurance notes and booking, and keep photos of your team and practice current.

  • Dermatology website design

Mohs surgery came up 12 times in Atlanta suggestions and pediatric dermatology 10. We build pages for each medical service, a page on your experience treating skin of color, and cosmetic pages for Botox and acne scar treatment, each with online booking.

  • Reviews and social media

Only 14 of 114 Atlanta listings signal cosmetic services in their category or name, so social media is where your cosmetic work can stand out. We post treatment explainers and results shared with patient consent, and run a review request after every visit.

  • Paid ads for cosmetic services

With 45 medical suggestions to 11 cosmetic ones, Atlanta's cosmetic searches are the smaller, higher-value slice. Google and Meta campaigns for Botox and acne scar treatment run in Buckhead, Alpharetta and Sandy Springs, with booking on each landing page.

How we help Atlanta dermatology practices book more patients

  1. 1. Free audit

We review the website, Google Business Profile, local visibility, and the path to booking an appointment with your practice.

  2. 2. Fix the leaks

We repair the gaps the audit finds: missing service pages, a profile that does not match the site, and a booking step that is hard to finish.

  3. 3. Grow local visibility

We publish the medical and cosmetic pages Atlanta patients are searching for, then keep them current.

  4. 4. Report monthly

Each month you see what went live and which appointment and consultation requests your practice chooses to count.

Questions about dermatology marketing in Atlanta

Do you work with dermatology practices in Atlanta?

Yes. We work with practices across the U.S., including Atlanta, and handle everything remotely: audits, strategy calls and reporting.

How long does dermatology SEO take in Atlanta?

Results typically take months, and no agency can guarantee rankings.

What does dermatology marketing cost?

It depends on the practice and which services you want. This site does not publish a price list. The Free Patient Leak Audit comes first. A price is discussed only after that review, and only if both sides want to continue.

Which services should a dermatology practice in Atlanta target online?

Start with skin-of-color care, insurance coverage and skin cancer screening, the topics Google attached first to plain Atlanta searches. Add Mohs and pediatric pages if you offer them, then cosmetic pages for Botox and acne scars.

Do you market the medical side of a dermatology practice too?

Yes. Pages, profile details and reviews cover medical visits such as skin checks, Mohs surgery, acne and pediatric care, including insurance questions. Paid campaigns are usually aimed at cosmetic services such as Botox, laser treatments and acne scar treatment.

Do you only work with dermatology practices?

No. We work with independent med spas, aesthetic clinics, dermatology practices and plastic surgery practices, with a focus on aesthetic and cosmetic growth.

What does the Free Patient Leak Audit cover?

The website, the Google Business Profile, local visibility and the booking path.

How we collected this data

Sources and what we could not collect

Collected September 26, 2026

  • Google Maps: we searched Google Maps for dermatologists in Atlanta, GA on September 26, 2026 and reviewed the 114 listings it returned, counting star ratings, review counts and Book online buttons. Google Maps stops at about 120 results per search, so these counts come from one search and are not a full census. Listing names aren't published.
  • Listings named after one doctor: many Google listings belong to an individual doctor rather than a practice (the name starts with Dr. or includes a credential such as MD). They often have few or no reviews, which pulls the median down, so we also show the median without them. Practices branded with a doctor's name are left out of that second figure too.
  • Search suggestions: Google's public autocomplete suggestions for 22 searches, such as a service plus the city name, in U.S. English. We removed suggestions that name a specific practice or hospital, point to another place with the same name, or have nothing to do with the specialty.
  • Medical and cosmetic searches: we sorted the suggestions into medical topics (for example insurance, skin checks, Mohs surgery and pediatric care) and cosmetic topics (for example Botox, laser treatments and acne scars).
  • Med spa comparison: the med spa booking figures come from the same kind of Google Maps search for med spas in this metro, collected on the same day.

What we could not collect

  • Google's regular (non-map) search results: The service we use to read those results blocked our requests on September 26, 2026, so we did not retry.
  • Google Trends interest over time: Google Trends turned our requests away as too many on September 26, 2026.
  • The full Google results page, including ads: Google blocked our requests as unusual traffic on September 26, 2026.
  • How many practices Yelp lists: Yelp blocked automated requests on September 26, 2026.
  • A complete count of every dermatology practice in the metro: No public source gives one, and Google Maps shows only about 120 results per search.
  • How many people search for each service: Autocomplete shows which searches exist, not how often they happen, and search-volume tools were not available to us.
