Minneapolis–St. Paul plastic surgery marketing
Plastic Surgery Marketing in Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN
In Minneapolis–St. Paul, even established plastic surgery practices have modest review counts. That makes steady reviews one of the fastest ways for an independent practice to stand out.
Leaving out listings named after one doctor, the median Minneapolis–St. Paul listing had 27 reviews, tied with Sacramento for the lowest of the 30 metros. Only 65 of the 138 rated listings had 4.8 stars or more, the lowest share we saw. Edina drew 6 area suggestions, as did searches for the Twin Cities as a whole. We build reviews, area pages and online booking into one plan.

Wayzata and Maple Grove drew 4 plastic surgery suggestions each, and Woodbury and Eden Prairie 2. Pages for Minneapolis, St. Paul and the western suburbs send readers to breast augmentation and fat transfer content.
Google Business Profile optimization
78 of the 169 listings we sampled were named after one doctor, and 16 of them had no reviews. Your practice profile becomes the complete one: services for each procedure, a consultation link, photos and regular posts. Only 12 of 169 listings showed a Book online button.
Plastic surgery website design
Minneapolis–St. Paul patients named mini facelift, deep plane facelift, VASER liposuction and chin liposuction twice each, and 19 suggestions asked about cost. Pages for those options cover candidacy, recovery and how pricing is handled at consultation.
Reviews and social media
The median listing had just 15 reviews, because many listings named after one doctor have few; the first three in the map results had 140, 371 and 131. A steady review routine moves you up, backed by surgeon-led social posts.
Paid ads (Google and Meta)
Search campaigns for breast augmentation, fat transfer and facelift cover Minneapolis, St. Paul and Edina. Meta retargeting brings back people who read those pages, and every month you get consultation requests and cost per request.

How we collected this data
Sources and what we could not collect
Collected September 26, 2026
- Google Maps: we searched Google Maps for plastic surgeons in Minneapolis, MN and St. Paul, MN on September 26, 2026 and reviewed the 169 listings it returned, counting star ratings, review counts and Book online buttons. Google Maps stops at about 120 results per search, so these counts come from these searches and are not a full census. Listing names aren't published.
- Listings named after one doctor: many Google listings belong to an individual doctor rather than a practice (the name starts with Dr. or includes a credential such as MD). They often have few or no reviews, which pulls the median down, so we also show the median without them. Practices branded with a doctor's name are left out of that second figure too.
- Search suggestions: Google's public autocomplete suggestions for 42 searches, such as a procedure plus the city name, in U.S. English. We removed suggestions that name a specific practice or hospital, point to another place with the same name, or have nothing to do with the specialty.
- Med spa comparison: the med spa booking figures come from the same kind of Google Maps search for med spas in this metro, collected on the same day.
What we could not collect
- Google's regular (non-map) search results: The service we use to read those results blocked our requests on September 26, 2026, so we did not retry.
- Google Trends interest over time: Google Trends turned our requests away as too many on September 26, 2026.
- The full Google results page, including ads: Google blocked our requests as unusual traffic on September 26, 2026.
- How many practices Yelp lists: Yelp blocked automated requests on September 26, 2026.
- A complete count of every plastic surgery practice in the metro: No public source gives one, and Google Maps shows only about 120 results per search.
- How many people search for each procedure: Autocomplete shows which searches exist, not how often they happen, and search-volume tools were not available to us.
