Orange County plastic surgery marketing

Plastic Surgery Marketing in Orange County, CA

Orange County has the least concentrated plastic surgery market of the 30 metros we sampled. With no dominant names, independent practices can still win a real share of searches.

The top 10 Orange County listings held just 26% of all reviews, the lowest share we saw, and only 2 of 179 had 500 or more. Blepharoplasty was the procedure Google attached to plain searches, with upper, lower and double eyelid surgery all named. Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach drew 4 area suggestions each. We build eyelid, face and body pages and a review plan for that open market.

Plastic surgery marketing services in Orange County

  • Local SEO for plastic surgeons

Costa Mesa, Mission Viejo and Laguna Niguel drew 2 plastic surgery suggestions each, beside Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach. Cities you serve get pages linked to your eyelid pages, and titles say Orange County, CA, since Google also suggested Orange County, NY.

  • Google Business Profile optimization

With 124 of 175 rated Orange County listings at 4.8 stars or more, reviews alone won't carry you. The listing itself has to answer questions: blepharoplasty, fat transfer, implant removal and breast reduction as services, a consultation request button, and recent photos.

  • Plastic surgery website design

Orange County patients named chin liposuction 3 times, and revision rhinoplasty, fat transfer breast augmentation and preservation breast augmentation twice each. Pages for those options cover candidacy, recovery and cost, with a consultation form on each.

  • Reviews and social media

The first three Orange County listings in the map results had 269, 163 and 177 reviews, and the most-reviewed listing had 715. A weekly review routine and surgeon-led posts on eyelid and breast procedures give you the edge.

  • Paid ads (Google and Meta)

Ads for blepharoplasty, breast reduction and fat transfer are budgeted city by city, from Huntington Beach to Mission Viejo. Meta retargeting follows up with anyone who read a procedure page, and each month you see requests by city.

We publish the procedure and area pages Orange County patients are searching for, then keep them current.

  4. 4. Report monthly

How we collected this data

Sources and what we could not collect

Collected September 26, 2026

  • Google Maps: we searched Google Maps for plastic surgeons in Newport Beach, CA and Irvine, CA on September 26, 2026 and reviewed the 179 listings it returned, counting star ratings, review counts and Book online buttons. Google Maps stops at about 120 results per search, so these counts come from these searches and are not a full census. Listing names aren't published.
  • Listings named after one doctor: many Google listings belong to an individual doctor rather than a practice (the name starts with Dr. or includes a credential such as MD). They often have few or no reviews, which pulls the median down, so we also show the median without them. Practices branded with a doctor's name are left out of that second figure too.
  • Search suggestions: Google's public autocomplete suggestions for 60 searches, such as a procedure plus the city name, in U.S. English. We removed suggestions that name a specific practice or hospital, point to another place with the same name, or have nothing to do with the specialty.
  • Med spa comparison: the med spa booking figures come from the same kind of Google Maps search for med spas in this metro, collected on the same day.

What we could not collect

  • Google's regular (non-map) search results: The service we use to read those results blocked our requests on September 26, 2026, so we did not retry.
  • Google Trends interest over time: Google Trends turned our requests away as too many on September 26, 2026.
  • The full Google results page, including ads: Google blocked our requests as unusual traffic on September 26, 2026.
  • How many practices Yelp lists: Yelp blocked automated requests on September 26, 2026.
  • A complete count of every plastic surgery practice in the metro: No public source gives one, and Google Maps shows only about 120 results per search.
  • How many people search for each procedure: Autocomplete shows which searches exist, not how often they happen, and search-volume tools were not available to us.
